| How to Choose YOUR Foundation
Colors: You need to first determine
your SKIN TONE. If you have purchased Cosmetics from the
better Department Stores, they would have told you your
skin tone: Fair, Light, Medium, Tan, Olive, Warm Tan or
Dark (Deep) Skin. FAIR SKIN tends to be sensitive and burns easily. Skin is porcelain with neutral undertones. There may be some surface redness and/or light freckles. FAIRLY LIGHT SKIN is porcelain to light skin with golden undertones. LIGHT SKIN has a golden undertone, some surface redness and/or freckles or discoloration. The skin tends to burn rather than tan. MEDIUM SKIN tends to tan rather than burn. Most women can wear Medium Cosmetic Shades. Skin has neutral undertone and/or golden undertone; some surface rednesss and/or discoloration. MEDIUM BEIGE SKIN is the same as Medium but definitely has a golden undertone. MEDIUM TAN SKIN is "medium skin" with neutral undertones that tans darker easily. TAN SKIN is medium skin with a golden undertone and no redness. Some refer this to OLIVE or TANNED skin with a golden undertone that tans darker easily. WARM TAN SKIN is honey- amber skin skin with a neutral undertone, normally Afro-American or Indian. WARM DEEP SKIN is for warm caramel brown skin with neutral neutral undertones. DEEP SKIN is darker skin with a neutral undertone no surface redness. DEEPEST DEEP SKIN is for rich espresso skin with a deep golden undertone. |
